Created from the ground up as a total workflow tool for digital photographers Lightroom has fast become the all-in-one software for photographers.

Lightroom streamlines the process for photographers, moving digital photos from capture through editing to output including slideshows, and print and web galleries. While you can do most this with Adobe Bridge and Photoshop, by using Lightroom you stay in one application.

Phase One Microsoft Expression Media

Expression Media (formerly iView MediaPro) is a Digital Asset Management (DAM) application that lets you review, sort, edit, present, publish and catalog all media types within one application. DAMsimple regularly tests and evaluates the latest digital management applications and Expression Media continues to offer the best balance of features and ease of use for the single user.

In 2010 Phase One purchased Expression Media from Microsoft Corporation. Despite fierce competition from Adobe and Apple the feature set in Expression Media remains unsurpassed for serious DAM.

Photo Mechanic

Photo Mechanic sets out to be the most useful Photo Browser on the market today. It does this by being logical in operation, intuitive in use and, most importantly of all, performing its functions as quickly as possible. Photo Mechanic is our first point of contact with our images. It automatically downloads, makes backups, creates folders, renames, IPTC captions and soft ejects the media card.

Photo Mechanic is not an image editor, it is not a RAW processor and it is not a cataloguing application. Photo Mechanic is about importing images, and then viewing and organising them as quickly and efficiently as possible.
